 Media Capabilities — Overview

Overview

In addition to recordings you have made within ScreenFlow, ScreenFlow allows you to work with media that you have created elsewhere. This section introduces some other common media that you may wish to use with ScreenFlow.

Managing media

All of the media in your document are listed in the media document area of the properties area of the main window. There are two ways to add media to ScreenFlow:

  • Drag & Drop media directly into the timeline.

    To add movies, pictures, or other media directly to your timeline, just drag them into the timeline area in the bottom part of the main window.

  • Drag & Drop your media into media document area.

    If you want to make the media its own clip, then the simplest way is to drag the media directly on to the timeline.
